HOW DO MENSTRUAL PANTS WORK?Flow period panties are sewn with a built-in pad, consisting of at least 3 technical layers, which draw fluid into the pad, absorb the fluid, and ensure that you do not bleed or drip through.
Absorbency corresponds approximately to:
Light flow: 2-5 mL
Moderate flow: 5-10 mL
Heavy flow: 10-15 mL

It may depend on the materials your panties are made of.
Mesh is very stretchy and if you are between two sizes, we would suggest sizing down.
Lyocell and organic cotton are slightly firmer materials, and here we would suggest that you take your normal size.

If you go all-in on absorbent panties and replace all panty liners and pads, you will need 10-12 pairs - depending on how easy you have access to a washing machine.
But if you only use absorbent panties for your period, we suggest 5-7 pairs.
The more panties, the easier everyday life.

"Leak" isn't really a word we find so delicious in the context of the body.
It sounds more like a leaking engine.
But you don't bleed directly through your panties. If they have reached their 'max' capacity, you bleed out to the sides.
