Why are there so few good solutions for women when half of the world's population menstruates?

My name is Cathrine Widunok Wichmand and I am the founder of flow intimatesBefore I became an entrepreneur, I worked as a journalist and radio host, and for many years I have written about life as a woman – from fertility and motherhood to the topics we all too rarely talk about out loud.

When I founded flow in 2021, the ambition was simple: To develop products that make everyday life easier for women, while contributing to more knowledge, greater openness and fewer taboos about women's health.

Today we develop period underwear, period swimwear, postpartum products and intimate care with a focus on quality, thoughtful design and carefully selected materials. But flow is about more than products. It's also about creating a conversation about period, fertility, menopause and women's health – topics that have received too little attention for too long.

On this page I share thoughts on entrepreneurship, product development, women's health and the experiences that have shaped both me and flowI hope they can inspire, create reflection or maybe just remind you that no one should be alone with the challenges that the body can bring.
