Flow founder Cathrine Wichmand went through three egg retrievals and six egg transfers before she was able to hold both of her children. She has written two books about this:
Heart Child and the Miracle Boy Eddie. Heart Child is an autobiographical novel that unfolds a love story between two adults who must experience the ultimate test - when the desired child keeps coming, how the relationship and the person themselves slowly disintegrate, as the two lines fail to appear.
Miracle Boy Eddie is a richly illustrated, funny and loving children's book that explains in a child-friendly way how people are made, when it's more of a story about petri dishes and fertility clinics than bees and flowers.
