Sara Bikini is named after Sara Nielsen — the other half of the duo, who won medals and made great strides in their category. Their collaboration required tremendous cooperation, body control, and trust between each other.

Rinse - wash - wear - repeat

1. If you've bled in your period swimwear, rinse it in cold water until it runs clear.

2. Protect your swimwear in a laundry bag and wash with similar colours at 30-40 degrees.
Tip: You can also wash with our Allergy Certified special detergent Bloody Clean.

3. Dry it inside out on a clothesline - and you're good to go again.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Menstrual swimwear, like Flow menstrual panties, is sewn with a built-in pad, consisting of a minimum of 3 technical layers that direct fluid into the pad, absorb the fluid and ensure that you do not bleed or leak through.

Absorbent technology you know

At the bottom of your period bikini or swimsuit, you'll find our familiar absorbent technology, but in quick-drying materials. Discreet – no one can tell.

The water pressure against the body helps

When you are in the water, the pressure from the water will also slow down the blood's exit from your body – with period swimwear, you are extra secure.

Blood in, water out

Your swimwear should fit snugly - this keeps blood in and water out. If you bleed heavily, you can combine it with a cup or disc - change and rinse your swimwear bottom just like your period underwear.

Worry-free bathing

Now you can jump in the water and feel a little safer while doing so.

Which size should I choose?

Please wear your regular size in your swimwear.
If you are between two sizes, we would suggest the smaller one, as the fabric can stretch when wet.

How much blood can it absorb?

The absorbency of menstrual swimwear is light to moderate.

If you are bleeding heavily, we suggest that you combine it with a cup or a disk.

How do they work?

Our swimwear is designed with a built-in, absorbent layer that captures and encapsulates menstrual blood. This layer is combined with a waterproof yet breathable membrane that prevents you from bleeding through while swimming or sunbathing.
