Period swimwear
The nice to know and need to know
What is period swimwear?
Period swimwear is swimwear with built-in absorbent technology that makes it possible to swim safely during your period with light to moderate bleeding.
You know the absorbent technology from our period underwear, and with period swimwear it is added to the bottom of all all styles as well but in a quick-drying quality.

Which style should I choose?
We will launch a large swim collection in 2026, which will include both period swimsuits and bikinis.
You can choose between different fits, colors and materials. Enjoy!
What do you get with your purchase?
Each Period Swim style is packaged in a small resealable bag that you can store and use on the go when your swimwear is wet.
We can also recommend buying Bloody Clean, which is a special detergent that super gently washes your swimwear clean and removes any odor.
We also have it in travel size, find Bloody Clean here →

News of 2026

In 2026, Flow will relaunch period swimwear
How does period swimwear work?
Our period swimwear is designed with:
〰️ A soft layer close to the body that directs fluid down into the next layer
〰️ An absorbent core that stops bleeding
〰️ A water-repellent, breathable membrane that minimizes the risk of bleeding through
The material dries quickly and feels light – even after a trip in the water.

How do I wash my period swimwear?

Before use: Wash your period swimwear at 30-40 degrees before using it.

Step 2: Wet directly into your swimsuit when you have your period

Step 3: Rinse the pad in your period swimsuit by hand after use until the water runs clear.

Step 4: Put the swimsuit in a laundry bag and wash with similar colors at 30-40 degrees and let it air dry inside out.

Mix and match to suit your needs
Swimsuit or bikini?
When we first launched period swimwear on the Danish market in 2024, we only launched one bikini - it sold out before the summer was over.
Now we are expanding with more fits, materials and cuts:
〰️ Period bikinis offer flexibility and the opportunity to mix and match.
〰️ Period swimsuit provides extra coverage and support.
Both are designed to look like regular swimwear – no one can tell the difference.
We are making sure that great women in sports stay in our common memory and history books
