Period Walk 2025

May 28, 2025 is Menstrual Awareness Day.

It is said that the date was chosen because an average cycle lasts 28 days, and May was chosen because on average we menstruate for 5 days = 5th month, cute, right?

Every one of us menstruates. In fact, 800 million people around the world menstruate EVERY day - that's 1.8 billion periods every month. It's the most common thing in the world, and yet still mythical to many. Because for millennia we've had to be ashamed and hide it. And that has made menstruating women particularly vulnerable, without a language and basic knowledge about their own bodies. And in some places without access to menstrual products at all.

On this year's Menstrual Awareness Day, Flow is collaborating with PlanBørnefonden by going on a Period Walk - and you should join us.

The whole Flow family shows up and takes you and the drop of blood under their arm - no more hiding it away, right? We meet at Flow HQ and walk together towards Harlo and Meyer, who will serve a cup of coffee + bun. Along the way, there are bloody speeches to remind us why it is so important that we insist on letting the blood flow. And when you go home, it is with a delicious goodie bag with gifts worth 1,000 DKK on your arm.
