How does period swimwear work?

Our period swimwear is designed with:

〰️ A soft layer close to the body that directs fluid down into the next layer

〰️ An absorbent core that stops bleeding

〰️ A water-repellent, breathable membrane that minimizes the risk of bleeding through

The material dries quickly and feels light – even after a trip in the water.

Menstrual swimwear – swim safely throughout your cycle

Menstrual swimwear is designed so that your period doesn't have to determine whether you jump in the ocean, go to the beach or say yes to a swim.

At Flow you will find menstrual swimwear that gives you the freedom to bathe, swim and be active – even when you are on your period. Our collection includes both menstrual bikinis and menstrual swimsuits with discreet built-in absorbent technology, so you can feel safe both in the water and on land.

From the outside they look like ordinary swimwear. Inside is the technology that makes the difference.

How do menstrual swimwear work?

All our menstrual swimwear is designed with a discreet sewn-in absorbent panel consisting of three functional layers.

The technology is designed to protect during light to moderate periods without compromising fit or comfort. If you have heavier bleeding, we recommend combining the swimwear with a menstrual cup or menstrual disc for extra security.

This means you can bathe, swim, paddleboard or play beach volleyball without having to worry about pads or tampons.

Menstrual bikini or menstrual swimsuit?

It depends on your preferences.

Our menstrual bikinis gives you the freedom to mix and match tops and bottoms to find the fit that suits you best.

If you prefer a complete solution, our menstrual swimsuits designed with elegant cuts, flattering fits and the same discreet absorbent technology.

No matter which model you choose, you'll get swimwear that can be worn all summer long - even on days when you're not menstruating.

Made for movement

Menstrual swimwear should be able to withstand more than one dip.

That's why our collection is sewn in exclusive Italian materials with 4-way stretch, which follow the body's movements, dry quickly and feel comfortable all day long.

All models are produced in Portugal with a focus on quality, durability and a timeless design that you can use season after season.
