How does it work period underwear
How does it work period underwearflow period underwear is sewn with a built-in bandage, consisting of a minimum of 3 technical layers, which directs liquid down into the bandage, absorbs the liquid and ensures that you do not bleed or drip through.
Absorption corresponds to approx. to:
Light flow: 2-5 mL
Moderate flow: 5-10 mL
Heavy flow: 10-15 mL

We create products we ourselves lack - and test them thoroughly (so yes, they are tested with real menstrual blood). In addition, we have a test panel consisting of hardcore and dedicated members from our community who take the task seriously.

Do you need help?
Frequently asked questions about period underwear
It may depend on the materials your panty is made of.
Mesh is very stretchy and if you are between two sizes, we would suggest sizing down.
Lyocell and organic cotton are slightly firmer materials, and here we would suggest that you take your normal size.
It depends on the panty's absorbency, which is indicated by drops. We have period underwear for both light, moderate and heavy bleeding.
Here you are looking at an absorbent panty with low absorption for everyday use. It is ideal for discharge, spotting and small drips.
👉If you need more absorption, you can choose period underwear with moderate to strong absorbency instead.
At the bottom of the panty is a discreet strip of fabric sewn in.
Regardless of the style, the bandage consists of a minimum of 3 absorbent layers - a top layer, which guides the liquid down into the next layer, which is reminiscent of a towel. At the bottom you will find a membrane which ensures that the liquid does not pass through the panty.

If you go all-in on absorbent panties and replace all panty liners and pads, you'll need 10-12 pairs - depending on how easy you have access to a washing machine.
But do you only use absorbent panties only for yours period, then we suggest 5-7 pairs.
The more panties, the easier everyday life.

"Leakage" is not really a word we think is so delicious in the context of the body.
It sounds more like a leaking engine.
But you don't bleed directly through your panties. If they have reached their 'max' on capacity, then you bleed out to the sides.

1) Rinse in cold water.

Easy flow period underwear – when do the panties fit?
The panty has been developed for lightness flow and smaller amounts of liquid. It is obvious at the beginning or end of your period, for spotting and for daily discharge.
How long you can wear it depends on your body and yours flow. The 12 hours of protection is therefore a maximum usage time, not a guarantee for all flows. Change the panty if it starts to feel damp.
Fit and size
Use our size guide to find the right size. The panty must fit close to the body around the wedge, but it must not be tight. You get the best protection when it sits comfortably and stays in place when you move.
How to wash the panties
Wash before use to activate absorbency. After use, you can rinse the panty in cold water and then wash it in the washing machine at 30 degrees. Always follow the washing instructions in the panties.
Avoid fabric softener as it can affect the absorbent layers. Do not leave a used panty damp for a long time, as it can give off a bad smell.
