From menarche to menopause

Menstrual panties for children and teenagers

Are you a parent of a child who has just started their period? Then you are guaranteed to be looking for the right menstrual product that feels comfortable and is easy to use – and that is safe and secure to wear.

First things first: We do not use PFAS or biocides such as nanosilver in our period panties, and all materials are OEKO-TEX certified.

And now for the next point: Period panties are ideal for teens who are new to menstruation and may also be physiologically too small for an adult pad or tampon. Period panties have a huge advantage in that they feel and look like regular underwear, and they require no insertion into the body. This provides peace of mind and comfort.

They are ideal for school, sports, and everyday use, making it easier to manage menstruation without worry. A great alternative to pads and tampons – both for teenagers and their parents.

We have a dream

Just imagine it: An entire generation free of single-use products.

Forget hiding period products in your sleeves. Forget the shame. Forget "that's just how it is to be a woman". The future is pink.

Three good reasons

That's why period underwear is genius for kids

They're not moving 🫡

Anyone who has ever used a pad has probably experienced at some point that the pad shifted, causing a leak, or that small hairs got stuck in the pad's adhesive.

The pad in period underwear is sewn in, so it stays where it should.

Looks like regular underwear 😎

We know how it is. You don't want to stand out. Even less so, perhaps, when you have your period. Both our period underwear and our period swimwear for teens look just like regular underwear and swimwear. It doesn't scream 'period' – no tampon string, no wings from a pad.

Non-invasive product ✋

Unlike a cup or a tampon, period underwear is a product that is worn outside the body.

Products that go inside the body require more mental effort. For example, you have to remember to change them to avoid the risk of TSS. With period underwear, that's one less thing to worry about.

Imagine you've just gotten your first period. Maybe you're 10 years old, maybe you're 13.

Not only do you have to deal with a new bodily function - your bleeding for the first year is also irregular. You don't know when it will suddenly come. And on top of that, you also have to learn to navigate the new hormonal side of your cycle.

You can wear menstrual panties even before you bleed. You can move, play sports, dance, cycle - everything you normally do, in your menstrual panties.

In any case, it shouldn't be your menstrual product that's holding you back.

Menstrual panties for teens is one less worry in everyday life.

Not our first rodeo

- maybe yours is

For generations

It's not just menstruation. It's a legacy.

We know about menstruation. We've seen and heard it all — felt it firsthand.
The chaos, the bleeds, the mood swings - but also the magic of it all.

So believe us when we say: Your body? A true masterpiece. Its wisdom runs deep — passed down through generations. To you from your mother, from her grandmother to her great-grandmother. All with one special thing in common.

When you learn to listen, feel and stay in it all, your cycle can become your strongest power move .

Tip #1 for dealing with period cramps

Heat 🔥

Heat can have a soothing effect. A heating pad on your stomach or lower back can do wonders for cramps. Otherwise, try a warm bath or snuggling up with a warm blanket.
Another good idea might be to wear warm socks, as you actually have an acupuncture point just below your ankle that is directly linked to pain relief during menstruation. It is activated by heat, among other things.

Tip #2 for dealing with period cramps

Movement 👯‍♀️

We know. It may seem counterintuitive to move when all you want to do is crawl under the covers and curl up. But gentle movement releases endorphins in your brain, which can reduce pain and tension in your body.

Go for a walk, do gentle stretches on the floor or take a dip in the swimming pool with yourJohanne Bikini.

Tip #3 for dealing with period cramps

Massage 💆‍♀️

Now you have a really good excuse to ask your friend, your girlfriend or your caregiver for a massage.

Gentle touch causes the brain to release lots of the love hormone, oxytocin, into the body - and that helps with pain. So massage can reduce pain.

Tip #4 for dealing with period cramps

Food 🥬

Eat good, nutritious food. The less hungry you are, the better you can handle it if your body hurts. Although it may be tempting to eat a big chocolate bar.

Some people find that anti-inflammatory foods have a relaxing effect on the uterus. These can include fatty fish, cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, and berries such as blueberries and raspberries.
