Flow Care – cycle care and body care throughout the menstrual cycle

Flow began with menstruation

With bleeding, leaks and the need for better, nicer and more dignified (and honestly: tastier) solutions for those days when the body demands something more.

But it quickly became clear to us that menstruation cannot be viewed in isolation.

Bleeding is part of something bigger. Of a cycle.
A body in constant change – day by day, phase by phase.

And over the course of a lifetime, we move through the first menstruation, an active sex life, pregnancy, childbirth, and the last menstruation. Our bodies are massively affected and changed by hormones – more than any other body.

That's why we need more than absorbent underwear.

And that is precisely why we are now launching Flow Care .

From menstruation to the entire cycle

For too long, caring for the menstruating body has been reduced to two things:
To stop the bleeding. And to soothe the pain.

Often without the big question marks.

But we want to bring care into the equation. And we want to look away from the bleeding and look at the big picture.

Just like we have underwear for boats discharge and menstruation , the body also deserves different care, as our needs change throughout the cycle.

Our hormonal fluctuations affect most things:
energy level, sleep , tension, restlessness, skin and general well-being .

It calls for a different approach than just “getting through”.

Flow Care is our answer to that need.

For us, it is a natural extension of what we have always stood for at Flow:
360° cycle care – all the way through, for the whole body, throughout the entire cycle.

Flow Care is created for cycle care in practice – see our first product here

Care is not a quick fix

Flow Care is not about repairing the body.
And not about promising miracles either.

It's about care.

About touch, repetition and small rituals that create calm and connection to the body – especially on days when it feels restless, tense or overstimulated.

When we say that care can be active, we don't mean that it has to fix something.
Our products are not medical, but they are developed with carefully selected, active ingredients that are backed by solid research.

We don't promise anything the products can't deliver.

And we sincerely believe that routine and rituals matter.
To lubricate the body. To breathe. To take your time.

Especially in a daily life that is built around a (man's) 24-hour cycle.
Your body was never built for it.

Why Flow Care?

Flow Care is created based on the same principles as the rest of Flow:
knowledge, transparency and respect for the complexity of the body.

We have been talking for years about understanding cycles, phases and needs.
Flow Care is the next step – where knowledge is translated into physical practice.

It has not been a quick process.

The dream took shape three years ago.
Research began two years ago.
And just over a year ago, development really started.

For us, it was crucial that Flow Care did not become just another indifferent “wellness product”.

That's why all our care products are tested repeatedly by our Inner Circle :
500 committed testers with different bodies, needs and challenges.
All feedback is collected in a structured manner and actively used in development.

Our manufacturer is among Denmark's most competent and ambitious - and shares our uncompromising approach to quality.

Calming Cream is our first step

The first product in the Flow Care series is Calming Cream .

A nourishing and moisturizing body lotion with shea butter and magnesium – ingredients known to relieve anxiety and reduce discomfort in the body.

Maybe you already know about magnesium sprays?
A magnesium body lotion is less concentrated than sprays, but in return makes room for more nourishing ingredients.

Calming Cream contains, among other things:

  • olive oil

  • almond oil

  • chamomile extract

  • Vitamin E

  • shea butter

Ingredients that can have a soothing effect on the skin and make the experience more pleasant – especially for sensitive skin.

Why a Calming Cream?

1 in 3 experience poorer sleep leading up to or during menstruation.
Research shows that hormonal shifts throughout the cycle can significantly affect sleep quality.

Magnesium is known to relieve restlessness in the body – and Calming Cream is created as a calm evening ritual, not a quick fix.
